Pit Master R.V. was an excellent choice for our family. My wife and I and 4 kids. The modern style of clean restrooms and showers made the stay feel much more comfortable. We had the opportunity to grill some burgers on their BBQ Pits, they came out delicious! We relaxed in the evenings in the outdoor area by the bbq pits. Everything we wanted to do was close by-Garner State Park, tubing, hiking. We will be booking with them again in the future! We stayed a week at Pitmaster RV park. Jay was great. Our dogs loved the dog park. We were near everything we wanted to do, Concan, Garner State Park, Lost Maples state park. Our daughter loved playing cornhole at the picnic area. They have a pickleball court. They are building a wiffleball court. It was an extremely relaxing stay. Thank you Jay for the hospitality.

We loved the old time experience of staying in a wagon with modern upgrades. Def a must visit in South Texas. We plan to come by here to either stay in the wagon or rent an rv. I love how they have gas grills, smoker, & campfires, too. The gentleman who helped my husband and I take a Polaroid with our camera was very accommodating.

The owners are so nice , welcoming and helpful . They have nice , spacious rv pads with full hookups , water , electricity and sewage . They have a full shower house with restrooms , and laundry facilities . They have pellet bbq grills , a place where you can sit by a camp fire. They have extra supplies if needed for sale . This place is so convenient it’s right near all the favorite Frio spots . They are always available to take your call should you need help. We loved it . We will be back 10/10!

We stayed here over the 4th of July week and had a wonderful experience. It was our first time in the area, and we didn’t realize how quickly places book up for the holiday. Just as we were about to go to look up places in New Braunfels, I happened to come across this place. I called and spoke with Mrs. Grace, who was incredibly helpful and accommodating. She let me know they had just opened earlier this year, and it really shows. The property is beautifully maintained, with great amenities like fire pits, a cozy outdoor fireplace, cornhole, and pickleball. While we didn’t get to use them much because of the rain, we appreciated the setup. The views at sunrise and sunset were absolutely stunning, and the whole atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The staff were welcoming and professional. We’ll definitely be booking again and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet, scenic getaway. Rooms: 5/5Service: 5/5Location: 5/5

Vacation · Friends A new RV park with a laundry room , bathrooms and nice showers! The views are stunning and there is a lot of access to the Frio river. You do have to drive to get to the river, this place is not right on it. The BBQ grills are top of the line. The owner was very nice and accommodating. Pet friendly and quiet. Furry friends are invited to join the fun—as long as everyone plays safe and kind.

✅ Here’s What to Know:

  • Keep pets on a leash or inside your cool, comfy RV.
  • Want to let them run? Head to the off-leash dog park!
  • Please clean up after your pet. We’ve got waste stations all around.
  • Pets should be friendly and not bother other guests.
  • If a dog acts mean or comes from a breed that’s known to be aggressive, please keep them separated.
  • Dogs should be gentle with people and other animals.
  • You’re responsible for what your pet does.

Every site comes with full hookups.
That means 20/30/50 AMP power, fresh water, and sewer connections. Most spots also have picnic tables for easy outdoor meals.
