Pitmaster RV Park is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all qualified individuals. 

Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 base per year. Seasonal Bonus. Includes dedicated RV Space.

As an RV Park Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations and management of our RV park, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all guests. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service to RV park guests, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction.

  2. Facility Management: Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the RV park facilities, including RV sites, amenities, landscaping, and common areas, to maintain cleanliness, safety, and attractiveness.

  3. Staff Supervision: Recruiting, training, and supervising park staff, including maintenance personnel, groundskeepers, and administrative staff, to ensure efficient operations and excellent service delivery.

  4. Reservation Management: Managing RV site reservations, check-ins, and check-outs using reservation software, and coordinating with the front desk staff to ensure smooth arrivals and departures for guests.

  5. Financial Management: Monitoring park finances, including revenue, expenses, and budgeting, to ensure profitability and financial sustainability, as well as implementing cost-saving measures where possible.

  6. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and policies governing RV parks, including health and safety standards, environmental regulations, and local ordinances.

  7. Marketing and Promotion: Implementing marketing strategies to attract new guests and retain existing ones, including online advertising, social media promotion, and partnerships with travel agencies or RV clubs.

  8. Community Relations: Building positive relationships with neighboring communities, local businesses, and relevant stakeholders to foster goodwill and cooperation.

  9. Emergency Response: Developing and implementing emergency response protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff in the event of emergencies or natural disasters.

  10. Continuous Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement and implementing initiatives to enhance the RV park experience for guests, such as adding new amenities, upgrading facilities, or implementing eco-friendly practices.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in hospitality management, preferably in RV parks, campgrounds, or related industries.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and experience with reservation management software.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Pay: $16.00 to $18.00 hour based on experience.  Eligible for end of season bonus. 
 
Job Description:
 
As the RV Park Receptionist & Reservation Specialist, you will serve as the first point of contact for guests visiting our park and play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and managing reservations. Your main responsibilities will include:
 
1. Guest Services: Greeting guests warmly upon arrival, providing information about park amenities, facilities, and local attractions, and assisting with inquiries, requests, and concerns to ensure a positive guest experience.
 
2. Reservation Management: Handling all aspects of reservation management, including receiving reservation inquiries via phone, email, or in person, checking availability, processing bookings, and confirming reservations accurately and efficiently using reservation software.
 
3. Check-In/Check-Out: Welcoming guests at the reception desk, processing check-ins and check-outs promptly, verifying identification, collecting payment, and providing keys, maps, and park guidelines to guests, ensuring smooth arrivals and departures.
 
4. Customer Relations: Building rapport with guests, establishing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, addressing guest feedback and complaints promptly and professionally, and striving to exceed guest expectations to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
 
5. Administrative Tasks: Performing various administrative duties, such as answering phones, responding to emails, filing paperwork, maintaining reservation records, and updating guest information in the database, with accuracy and attention to detail.
 
6. Sales & Upselling: Promoting park amenities, services, and special offers to guests, upselling additional services or upgrades, and maximizing revenue opportunities through effective sales techniques and customer engagement.
 
7. Emergency Response: Acting as a point of contact during emergencies or crisis situations, providing assistance, information, and directions to guests, and following established protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff.
 
8. Team Collaboration: Collaborating with other park staff, including maintenance workers, housekeeping staff, and management, to coordinate guest services, address operational needs, and maintain a cohesive and efficient work environment.
 
9. Cash Handling: Handling cash transactions, processing credit card payments, reconciling cash drawers, and maintaining accurate records of financial transactions in compliance with established procedures and regulations.
 
10. Training & Development: Participating in training programs and staff meetings, staying informed about park policies, procedures, and regulations, and continuously seeking opportunities for professional growth and development in the hospitality industry.
 
Qualifications:
 
– Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or receptionist roles preferred.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
– Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
– Proficiency in computer skills and experience with reservation management software preferred.

Title: RV Park Maintenance Engineer
 
Pay: $17.00 to $23.00 per hour based on experience.  Eligible for end of season bonus. 

Job Description:
 
As an RV Park Maintenance Engineer, you will be an integral part of our team responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of our RV park facilities. Your main responsibilities will include:
 
1. Groundskeeping: Performing routine maintenance tasks to upkeep the appearance of the RV park grounds, including mowing lawns, trimming bushes, planting flowers, and maintaining landscape beds.
 
2. Site Maintenance: Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of RV sites, picnic areas, fire pits, and outdoor amenities to ensure they are clean, orderly, and in good working condition.
 
3. Facility Repairs: Assisting with repairs and maintenance of park facilities, such as restrooms, shower buildings, laundry facilities, and recreational equipment, to address issues promptly and ensure guest satisfaction.
 
4. Trash Removal: Collecting and disposing of trash and recycling materials from designated areas throughout the RV park in a timely and sanitary manner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
 
5. Road Maintenance: Inspecting and maintaining roads, pathways, parking lots, and signage within the RV park to ensure safe and smooth traffic flow for guests and vehicles.
 
6. Utility Maintenance: Assisting with the maintenance and repair of utility hook-ups, electrical systems, water lines, sewer systems, and irrigation systems to ensure they are functioning properly and efficiently.
 
7. Equipment Operation: Operating and maintaining equipment and machinery used in maintenance tasks, such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, pressure washers, and hand tools, in a safe and responsible manner.
 
8. Emergency Response: Assisting with emergency response efforts as needed, including storm cleanup, snow removal, power outages, water leaks, or other maintenance-related emergencies to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff.
 
9. Compliance: Adhering to all safety regulations, procedures, and guidelines governing maintenance operations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), chemical handling, and equipment operation.
 
10. Guest Interaction: Providing friendly and helpful assistance to guests, answering questions, offering directions, and addressing concerns in a courteous and professional manner to enhance the guest experience and promote guest satisfaction.
 
Qualifications:
 
– Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, maintenance, or related field preferred.
– Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, standing, and operating equipment for extended periods in various weather conditions.

2. Site Assistance: Escorting guests to their RV sites, assisting with parking, hooking up utilities, and providing guidance on park rules and regulations to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience for guests during their stay.
 
3. Maintenance Support: Assisting with basic maintenance tasks around the park, such as cleaning common areas, emptying trash receptacles, maintaining restroom facilities, and performing light landscaping duties to keep the park clean, tidy, and attractive.
 
4. Security Monitoring: Patrolling the park grounds regularly to ensure the safety and security of guests and property, reporting any suspicious activity or safety hazards to park management, and responding to emergencies or incidents as needed.
 
5. Customer Relations: Building positive relationships with guests, addressing their needs and preferences, and fostering a friendly and welcoming atmosphere within the park to enhance guest satisfaction and encourage repeat visits.
 
6. Event Coordination: Assisting with the planning and organization of park events, activities, and social gatherings, such as potlucks, BBQs, and game nights, to promote community engagement and camaraderie among guests.
 
7. Reservation Management: Assisting with reservation inquiries, processing bookings, and coordinating site assignments using reservation management software, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely communication with guests.
 
8. Sales & Promotion: Promoting park amenities, services, and special offers to guests, upselling additional services or packages, and providing recommendations for local attractions and activities to enhance the guest experience and maximize revenue opportunities.
 
9. Environmental Stewardship: Educating guests about eco-friendly practices and conservation efforts within the park, encouraging responsible use of resources, and promoting sustainability initiatives to minimize environmental impact.
 
10. Team Collaboration: Collaborating with other park staff, including maintenance workers, receptionists, and management, to coordinate guest services, address operational needs, and maintain a cohesive and efficient work environment.
 
Qualifications:
 
– Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or campground/hostel management preferred.
– Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
– Basic knowledge of RV park operations, maintenance, and safety protocols.
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
– Physical stamina and ability to perform light to moderate physical tasks, such as walking, standing, lifting, and bending, in various weather conditions.
